Meet Dr Parsia Berahman
For Dr Berahman, one of the best parts of being a dentist is simple: seeing the satisfaction on a patient’s face. He enjoys getting to know the person in the chair, listening to what matters to them and taking the time to do things properly.
Dentistry has actually been part of his life for a long time. Growing up, Dr Berahman spent time at his uncle’s dental practice and helped out whenever he could. His sister later chose dentistry as a career too, but it wasn’t until university that he knew for certain he had found the right path.
The Patient Who Made It Click
Dr Berahman completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where he especially enjoyed his time in the prosthodontic and periodontic departments and learning from professors he greatly respected.
One patient in particular has stayed with him. As a dental student, Dr Berahman treated an older gentleman who needed full dentures. They spent several appointments together, and when treatment was complete, seeing his patient smile with confidence made an impression that Dr Berahman still remembers.
Always Learning
Dr Berahman has a particular interest in restorative and digital dentistry, including CEREC and digital dental workflows. He has also completed CBCT training and certification and continues to build his knowledge through professional development, with plans for further training in implant dentistry and Invisalign®.
He hopes new patients quickly feel that they can relax, ask questions and know they’ll be listened to. His philosophy is straightforward: whatever he’s doing, he wants to do it properly and to the best of his ability.
Outside The Office
Outside the practice, Dr Berahman enjoys movies, cars, playing guitar and listening to music. He’s also genuinely fond of learning, so it’s not unusual for a dental course to make its way into his downtime.
